Buster Olney of ESPN.com reports that Troy Glaus does not intend to continue his playing career.
Olney says that he actually bumped into Glaus at the Dallas airport a couple months ago and the 35-year-old told him then that he was finished playing. It’s not a surprise, as Glaus had chances to sign with teams for the 2011 season but decided instead to spend more time with his family. If he’s officially done, he finishes his career with a .254/.358/.489 batting line and 320 homers over 13 seasons.
