Jose Reyes had two hits, a steal and a run scored in Sunday’s win over the Padres.

Reyes is starting to heat up. He has two hits in three of his last four games and four steals in his last six outings. It’s not a coincidence that the Marlins have now six straight games.

He should be a real game-changer at the top of the Marlins’ lineup, but concerns about his troubled hamstrings will continue to follow him throughout the life of the contract. The dynamic shortstop has appeared in 133 games or less in each of the last three seasons. Still, you can’t blame the Marlins for trying to create some buzz for the opening of their new ballpark.
