C.J. Wilson was removed after allowing four runs — one earned — and walking six in 3 2/3 innings against the White Sox on Thursday.

Maybe Wilson’s routine is a little off after his two starts in two days last week. It’s certainly not like him to come out and walk six batters like this. Just 45 of his 88 pitches were strikes in the contest. Keep him active and hope it was just a bad day.

Making the start for a second straight day, C.J. Wilson yielded two runs over 5 2/3 innings Saturday as part of a no-decision against the Rangers.

At least he redeemed himself a bit from Friday’s brief ugly outing. Wilson actually held the Rangers to one run over the first five innings before giving up a game-tying solo shot to Josh Hamilton in the bottom of the sixth inning. The southpaw struck out four and walked three, lowering his ERA to 3.42 on the year. He’ll get the White Sox next.

C.J. Wilson will start Saturday against the Rangers after his outing on Friday was cut short due to a rain delay.

That’s right, Wilson will get another crack against his former team this weekend. The southpaw threw 22 pitches over one-third of an inning Friday before a two-hour rain delay ended his night, so he should have plenty of bullets left. There was some speculation that Jered Weaver would move up a day in the rotation, but he’ll start as scheduled on Sunday.

C.J. Wilson didn?t have quite the homecoming he anticipated on Friday, allowing four runs on three hits in just 1/3 of an inning against the Rangers.

Wilson got himself into a heap of trouble in the first inning, and didn?t return to the game after a lengthy rain delay. The one out that he did record in the game came via the strikeout. The poor performance drops him to 4-3 on the season and raises his ERA to 3.46. He?ll attempt to right the ship when he squares off against the White Sox at home on Wednesday.

C.J. Wilson pitched eight innings of two-run ball Saturday in a victory over the Blue Jays.

Wilson has four of the Angels’ 11 wins so far, and he’s pitched well enough to deserve one more. He struck out nine tonight, giving him 39 K’s in 41 1/3 innings for the season.

C.J. Wilson held the Rays to two runs on six hits while striking out 11 in seven innings of work on Wednesday, but got stuck with the loss in Los Angeles’ 3-2 setback in Tampa.

He walked two, and served up a solo home run to Ben Zobrist. Wilson had “just” 15 strikeouts through his first 19 innings coming into this evening. He’ll bring a 2.42 ERA and 1.08 WHIP into his Monday outing against the Twins.

C.J. Wilson tossed six innings of one-run ball in a 7-1 win over the Yankees on Saturday.

Wilson allowed six hits while striking out two and walking two. The only run scored on an RBI single by Robinson Cano in the bottom of the fifth inning. C.J. Wilson limited the Twins to one run and three hits in seven innings to win Monday.

Wilson was in complete control today, giving 15 outs on the ground and five more via the strikeouts. Josh Willingham managed a solo homer in the fourth, but the Twins never really threatened otherwise. Wilson also looked good all spring, so don’t be surprised to see him remain among the AL ERA leaders for at least the early portion of the season.

C.J. Wilson tossed four scoreless innings against the Dodgers Wednesday in his final exhibition tuneup, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out five.

A nice capper in what has been an outstanding camp for the free agent acquisition, as Wilson has allowed just three runs while boasting a 21/5 K/BB ratio over 24 1/3 frames. He’ll start the Halos’ fourth game of the season.
