Ben Zobrist homered for the second straight game Monday while also walking and scoring two runs in a win over the Blue Jays.

The two nice games followed a slump that had dropped his average to .198. It’s still at just .218 now, but Zobrist has gone deep six times and knocked 10 other extra-base hits. He’ll be fine.

Zobrist’s third home run of the season was a third inning solo shot off of C.J. Wilson. The swipe was his first of the year. Zobrist is hitting just .180/.329/.377, but there’s nothing to worry about for mixed-league owners.

Ben Zobrist was the hero in Wednesday’s comeback over Detroit, tagging Jose Valverde for the go-ahead, two-run single in the ninth inning of Tampa’s 4-2 win.

Zobrist finished his day 2-for-4. The league’s ultimate utility player is batting .278/.381/.444 to go along with two extra-base hits and three RBI through Tampa’s first five games.
