Dodgers signed INF Adam Kennedy to a one-year, $800,000 contract.

The deal, which was agreed upon Wednesday morning, also carries another $150,000 in performance-based incentives. Kennedy batted just .234/.277/.355 this past year for the Mariners, but he can play all around the infield and will function as a utilityman for the Dodgers in 2012.

According to Ben Nicholson-Smith of MLB Trade Rumors, the Dodgers are talking to Adam Kennedy.

Kennedy batted just .234/.277/.355 across 409 plate appearances this past year for the Mariners, but he’s capable of playing adequate defense all over the infield and would serve a useful super-utility role for the Dodgers. A minor league deal might do the trick.
