According to MLB.com’s Todd Zolecki, the Phillies have signed a one-year contract with Chad Durbin.
The deal also carries a club option for 2014. Exact financial details are not yet available. Durbin, 35, posted a decent 3.10 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 49/28 K/BB ratio in 61 innings last season for the Braves. He will operate in middle relief this summer in the Philadelphia ‘pen.
