The Phillies will not tender a contract to OF Nate Schierholtz.
Schierholtz made $1.3 million this season while batting .257/.321/.407 with six homers and a .728 OPS in 269 plate appearances. The Phillies weren’t willing to give him a raise in arbitration, but he shouldn’t have trouble latching on somewhere as a fourth outfielder.
