Ryan Ludwick has declined his part of a $5 million mutual option with the Reds for 2013.
Not unexpected after Ludwick batted .275/.346/.531 with 26 home runs, 80 RBI and an .877 OPS this season. However, there is mutual interest in getting a new deal done.
