Diamondbacks declined RHP Matt Lindstrom’s $4 million club option for 2013.
Lindstrom will receive a $200,000 buyout and test free agency. The 32-year-old posted a solid 2.68 ERA and 40/14 K/BB ratio over 47 innings this season between the Orioles and Diamondbacks. While the O’s didn’t pick up the option, Lindstrom might be able to fetch a multi-year deal this winter.
