Buster Posey is hitting cleanup in Game 1 of the World Series against the Tigers on Wednesday.
Giants manager Bruce Bochy is going with his standard lineup against right-handers with Justin Verlander on the hill. Angel Pagan is hitting leadoff and will be followed by Marco Scutaro, Pablo Sandoval, Posey, Hunter Pence, Brandon Belt, Gregor Blanco, Brandon Crawford and Barry Zito. Posey is hitting .178 (8-for-45) with two homers and six RBI this postseason.
