Lance Berkman (knee) is not expected to be available if the Cardinals make it to the World Series.
Berkman said his knee is rehabbing well but that he doesn’t think he has enough time to be added to postseason roster. The 36-year-old appeared in just 32 games due to injuries, and will wait until February before making a decision about whether or not to retire.
