Giants manager Bruce Bochy indicated after Wednesday’s NLCS Game 3 loss that Hunter Pence could be dropped in the batting order.
Pence has been the team’s vocal leader this postseason, but he’s done very little with the bat, hitting just .161 with zero RBI. Of course, the hitters behind Pence as a whole haven’t done much, either. It’s possible we could see Buster Posey at first base and Hector Sanchez behind the plate in Game 4.
