Carlos Beltran went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday’s Game 1 NLCS win over the Giants.
Coming off a dominant Division Series, Beltran’s two-run shot off Madison Bumgarner in the fourth inning proved to be the game-winning runs for the Cardinals. The 35-year-old outfielder is hitting a dominant .385/.469/.846 with two steals and six RBI in seven postseason games. The Cardinals will now look to increase their lead against the Giants and Ryan Vogelsong on Monday, followed by Matt Cain in Game 3.
