Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said Thursday that Clayton Kershaw will not have surgery on his right hip.
This confirms what was said by Dodgers head trainer Sue Falsone on Wednesday. Kershaw was bothered by a hip impingement last month, but he’s now expected to have a normal offseason. The 24-year-old southpaw posted an NL-best 2.53 ERA in 33 starts this year and has a chance at a second straight Cy Young Award.
