Koji Uehara is expected to take on a more prominent role with Mike Adams (neck) out indefinitely.
Uehara will serve as the Rangers’ primary reliever in the eight inning until Adams returns, with Alexi Ogando and Robbie Ross still getting looks in certain situations. An MRI ruled out any significant issues with Adams, and there’s a chance he’ll be ready for the postseason.
