Adrian Gonzalez (Dodgers)

9/23/12 10:44 pm

Adrian Gonzalez ended his homerless drought with two bombs Sunday night in the Dodgers’ 5-3 win over the Reds.

Gonzalez homered in his first at-bat for the Dodgers, but he had gone 105 at-bats without one since until taking Homer Bailey deep twice tonight. With a strong effort from Clayton Kershaw and company tonight, the Dodgers managed to take two out of three in Cincinnati this weekend to improve to 79-74. They’re three games behind the Cardinals in the wild card.
