Paul Janish is flying back to Atlanta for further tests on his dislocated left shoulder.
Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez doesn’t expect his backup shortstop to return soon, though he thinks he could be ready for postseason play. Janish has given Atlanta nice defense while he’s been in there, but the Braves will be fine as long as Andrelton Simmons (shoulder) can get back soon.
