Chris Archer will start Wednesday against the Red Sox.
The move is being made in order to give David Price and James Shields some extra rest. Price will now get the ball Thursday. Archer as been very impressive in his limited big league work to this point, posting a 3.22 ERA and 0.99 with 28 strikeouts over 22 1/3 innings.
