Adrian Beltre will undergo a precautionary MRI on his left shoulder.
Beltre injured himself in the second inning of Wednesday’s game when he dove for a ball. That he was able to initially stay in the game and the fact that they’re calling the MRI precautionary is a good sign, but we’ll have to wait and see what the exam says. At the very least, the Rangers figure to play it safe and sit him for a game or two.
