Devin Mesoraco will serve a two-game suspension for bumping home plate umpire Chad Fairchild on July 30.
MLB originally handed Mesoraco a three-game suspension, so he was able to get one game subtracted via the appeal process. The rookie backstop will serve the suspension on Tuesday and Wednesday. Dioner Navarro has been called up from Triple-A Louisville to back up Ryan Hanigan.
