Diamondbacks prospect Tyler Skaggs has been scratched from his start Monday at Triple-A Reno.
The move was likely made so that Skaggs can be promoted to the major leagues on Wednesday to start one half of the Diamondbacks’ doubleheader against the Marlins. The 21-year-old left-hander has registered a cool 2.87 ERA and 116/37 K/BB ratio in 122 1/3 innings this season between Double-A Mobile and Reno. He’s worth a stream in deeper mixed fantasy leagues.
