Cameron Maybin went 4-for-5 with three RBI and his 21st stolen base in Sunday’s win over the Giants.
All four hits were singles for Maybin, who was just 9-for-51 (.176) in August coming into this afternoon. Astonishingly, he’s had only four multi-hit games since the All-Star break. The 21 swipes are a decent silver lining for his fantasy owners, but Maybin won’t approach the 40 bags he swiped in 2011.
