Shelley Duncan hit his first career grand slam to account for all of the Indians’ scoring Friday against the A’s.
Duncan was 7-for-20 (.350) with the bases loaded in his career, but his only extra-base hit was a double. If only the Indians would decide to release Duncan tomorrow (and no one else picked him up), he’d finish the season with 11 homers and 29 runs scored for the third straight year. However, it looks like he’ll get another 60-80 at-bats to add to those totals.
