Wade Miley was dominant in Friday’s victory over the Astros, allowing just one run on eight hits over his six frames.
Miley fanned five and didn’t issue a walk in the game. The only blemish on his evening was a sacrifice fly by Tyler Greene in the fifth inning. The 25-year-old left-hander is enjoying a true breakout season, posting a 13-8 record, 2.96 ERA and 104/26 K/BB ratio over 143 innings. He’ll look to keep on rolling when he takes on the Marlins at home as part of Wednesday’s doubleheader.
