Mark Reynolds and Buck Showalter were ejected from Friday’s game against the Tigers for arguing with first base umpire Jeff Kellogg.
And to be fair, they appeared to have a legitimate beef. On a groundball hit to Manny Machado, Johnny Peralta appeared to be out at first base. Jeff Kellogg, the umpire at first, called it as such but was overruled by the home plate umpire. This lead to exploding emotions from Reynolds and Showalter, ultimately ending their night prematurely.
