Jordan Zimmermann spun 5 2/3 innings of two-run ball in a loss Tuesday against the Giants.
He gave up eight hits and two walks while striking out four. In a crowded rotation, Zimmermann shouldn’t be overlooked for his tremendous contributions this season. The 26-year-old right-hander is 9-7 with a sparkling 2.38 ERA and outstanding 114/27 K/BB ratio.
