Jordany Valdespin went 2-for-4 and hit his eighth homer against the Braves on Sunday night.
Valdespin struck out in his other two at-bats, leaving him with a 29/4 K/BB rtio through 140 at-bats. Still, he’s showed nice pop and maintained a decent average so far. It’s going to be interesting to see what the Mets do with him next year. He’s probably not going to hit enough to be a quality starter in an outfield corner, but he might fit in at second base or in center field.
