Bartolo Colon was off in Sunday’s loss to the White Sox, allowing six runs (five earned) on nine hits and two walks in 5 2/3 innings.
He struck out two in falling to 9-9. Today was just the second time in his past eight starts Colon failed to complete six innings of work. He had allowed only one run across his past 20 2/3 innings coming into this afternoon. He’ll bring a 3.55 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 88/23 K/BB ratio into his Saturday tilt with the Indians in Oakland.
