Steve Geltz (Angels)

Angels purchased the contract of RHP Steve Geltz from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Geltz, 24, was posting a 3.76 ERA in 19 appearances in the Pacific Coast League. He’s taking David Carpenter’s place on the active roster.
