Roy Halladay turned in his second straight dominating performance in Friday’s win over the Phillies, allowing just one run on two hits over eight impressive innings.
Halladay punched out eight without walking a batter in the game. Carlos Beltran’s solo shot in the second inning was the extent of the damage against him on the evening. It’s only two starts, but he looks like he’s back to being the Roy Halladay that we’ve been accustomed to seeing over the rest of his fabulous career. He obviously needs to be active in all formats when he takes on the Marlins in Miami on Wednesday.
