Jeremy Hellickson (Rays)

Jeremy Hellickson struggled a bit in Friday’s victory over the Twins, allowing three runs on seven hits over his five innings of work.

Hellickson walked two and struck out three in the game. While he wasn’t especially sharp, his offense did more than enough to make up for his shortcomings and lead the team to victory. He’s done a nice job in his sophomore season for the Rays, going 7-7 with a 3.52 ERA over his first 21 starts. He’ll look to keep that rolling when he does battle against the Mariners in Seattle on Wednesday.
