Josh Rutledge went 4-for-5 with a trio of doubles and three RBI in Tuesday’s triumph over the Dodgers.
Locked into a starting job for the rest of the season following the trade of Marco Scutaro, Rutledge is now hitting .356/.372/.700 with six homers, 18 RBI and three steals through his first 22 big-league games. Rutledge, 23, dominated Double-A ball prior to his promotion to the big leagues and has put on a show since being promoted to the Mile High City. Needless to say, he’s worth owning in mixed leagues at the moment. Might as well ride the high of the Rocky Mountains until the youngster comes back to earth.
