Zach Britton was blasted in a no-decision against the Mariners on Tuesday, surrendering four runs on eight hits over his five innings.
Britton was able to rack up six strikeouts in the game, while walking just two. The M’s jumped on him early and often, with Kyle Seager blasting a three-run homer in the first inning, and Miguel Olivo adding a solo shot as part of a two-run second. Through 23 1/3 innings on the year, he’s posted a horrifying 8.10 ERA and 17/16 K/BB ratio. He should be avoided in all fantasy leagues for the time being, even with a favorable matchup on tap against the Royals at home on Sunday.
