Blake Beavan struggled in a no-decision against the Orioles on Tuesday, allowing four runs on seven hits over his six-plus innings of work.
Beavan struck out two and walked one in the game. Matt Wieters did the majority of the damage, connecting on a pair of solo homers in the game. Still, Beavan had a 4-3 lead when he went out to start the seventh inning, but allowed a leadoff double to Mark Reynolds before being removed, and he eventually came around to score. He?ll take a 7-6 record and middling 5.12 ERA into Sunday’s start against the Angels in Anaheim on Sunday.
