Updating a previous item, Brett Lawrie is day to day with ribcage tightness.
According to MLB.com’s Ben Estes, Lawrie is actually dealing with an aggravation of a previous injury, stemming from a fall he took in a mid-July series with the Yankees. This doesn’t appear to be a serious injury, but the Blue Jays have recalled Adeiny Hechavarria in the event Lawrie requires an extended absence.
