Matt Garza (triceps) had his bullpen session cut short on Friday.
“It felt like I thought I would feel,” said Garza, who was away this week to be with his wife for the birth of their fourth child. “I took three days off and didn?t do anything. We?ll come back and do it again tomorrow.” Garza still hopes to start Tuesday against the Padres, but his status is up in the air right now. The 28-year-old right-hander hasn’t pitched since July 21 due to cramping in his right triceps.
