Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports that the Cubs have called up prospect outfielder Brett Jackson.
The Cubs have yet to make an official announcement, but Jackson was seen taking early batting practice with the club. The 24-year-old batted .258/.339/.485 with 15 homers, 22 doubles, 12 triples and 26 stolen bases over 104 games with Triple-A Iowa this season and should get a chance to sink-or-swim in center field down the stretch. He’s a must-own in NL-only formats.
