Ike Davis had a three-homer game in a losing cause versus the Diamondbacks on Saturday.
Davis had a chance for homer No. 4 in the eighth, but he settled for a single instead. He was on deck in the ninth when David Wright struck out to end the 6-3 loss. As you might have deduced, all of Davis’ homers were solo shots. He only got to hit with one man on all day and that was when Wright walked ahead of him in the eighth.
