Nick Swisher (hip) is not expected to return to the starting lineup Friday.
Swisher hasn’t played since leaving last Friday’s game with a strained left hip flexor. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said he “looked good” during a workout at Yankee Stadium on Thursday, but he’s not a sure thing to play on Saturday or Sunday, either. Fantasy owners should have a backup plan at the ready this weekend.
