Randall Delgado pitched well in the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader, allowing just two runs on six hits in a no-decision against the Nationals.
Delgado fanned four while walking one. He was sent down to Triple-A last weekend to make room for Ben Sheets in the Braves’ rotation, and did everything in his power to earn another opportunity tonight. While he’s likely to be shipped back to the minors, he?ll be the first option when the Braves need another starter over the next few weeks.
