Chipper Jones had an RBI double but the Braves dropped the nightcap of Saturday’s doubleheader with the Nationals.
Chipper delivered a pinch-hit homer in Game 1 of the twin-billing, and came through again in the second contest. While he’s committed to retiring after his age-40 season, Chipper is clearly still on top of his game. He’s now batting .313 with nine homers and 40 RBI in 201 at-bats this season.
