Tim Lincecum overmatched the Astros on Saturday, pitching eight scoreless innings and striking out 11 in a no-decision.
Lincecum left with a 2-0 lead, but that was blown in the ninth. While Lincecum has really struggled pitching from the stretch this season, tonight he allowed just two hits with men on base, both of them singles. Some of his success was likely due to the lineup he was facing, but it was a pretty encouraging outing.
