Braves optioned RHP Randall Delgado to Triple-A Gwinnett.
The Braves picked Mike Minor over Delgado to remain in the rotation. “It was a tough decision between him and Minor,” manager Fredi Gonzalez said. “The last couple starts with Minor we felt there was some progress being made.” Delgado, who holds a 4.52 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 16 starts, will return to the Braves to pitch one of the doubleheader games against the Nationals Saturday.
