Freddie Freeman blasted a three-run homer on Sunday, powering the Braves to a 6-1 victory over the visiting Mets.

The three-run shot off Johan Santana in the fifth inning was Freeman’s lone hit in four trips to the plate. He has now hit safely in seven consecutive games, hitting .462 (12-for-26) with two homers and seven RBI over that stretch. At just 22-years-old, he’s quickly becoming one of the best hitting first baseman in the National League.
