Kyle Lohse pitched well in a no-decision against the Reds on Saturday, giving up two runs on eight hits over his six innings of work.
Lohse, as he’s done all season, threw a lot of strikes in this one, walking just one while striking out three. The Reds were able to put a couple of hits together in each the fifth and sixth innings to push single runs across. He’s now turned in eight straight quality starts, and owns a terrific 9-2 record and 2.80 ERA on the season. He?ll look to continue that dominance when he takes on the Cubs at home on Friday.
