Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said Trevor Bauer will keep his spot in the rotation, with Josh Collmenter sliding back to a relief role.
Collmenter pitched well in his brief return to the rotation, but the D’Backs value his versatility in the pen, and Bauer sealed his spot with six innings of two-hit ball in his last start. Though we remain worried about his ability to go deep into games, Bauer should provide plenty of strikeouts and is worth owning in all fantasy formats. Bauer will make his first start of the second half Tuesday in Cincinnati.
