Diamondbacks general manager Kevin Towers told Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic on Tuesday that he is willing to listen to offers for Justin Upton.
“My job is to try to make this club better,” said Towers. “We’re not out shopping him by any means. Clubs have asked; I’ve said, ‘Hey, tell me what you would do.’ We could either say yes or say no.” Many have speculated that the Diamondbacks could ask for some of the best young talent in the game in return, but Towers said that he’s not looking for prospects and that the team is still in “win mode.”
