Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports that the Angels are expected to pursue Zack Greinke at the trade deadline if he’s made available.
The division rival Rangers are also known to have interest in the right-hander, though they seem to prefer Cole Hamels among the upper-tier starters that could be available. The Braves and Orioles have also been mentioned as suitors for Greinke, though Heyman was told by a person close to the righty that the Halos are viewed as “a perfect fit.”
