According to ESPN New York, Brett Gardner (elbow) is expected to be sidelined through July.
“The earliest you will see him is the 27th of the July at the major league level,” general manager Brian Cashman said. “He is swinging off of a tee. There is going to be a lot of, ‘He’s fine,’ up until he’s playing in rehab games.” Gardner has been on the disabled list since mid-April with a sprained right elbow. A best-case scenario would have him returning at the end of the month.
