CBSSports.com confirms Ben Sheets will make his regular-season debut Sunday against the Mets.
The Braves are desperate for starting pitching with Randall Delgado and Mike Minor struggling. Sheets hasn’t appeared in the majors since 2010, but was reportedly clocked in the 89-93 mph range in two minor league starts. A corresponding move will be announced later this week.
